Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is the first DOCG in Italy approved on 1 July 1980.
To obtain this wine the vineyards must be registered and located within the municipality of Montepulciano. The specification imposes, to maintain the territoriality of this product, that the vinification, aging and bottling are done internally
of the municipality.
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano must be subjected to a maturation period of at least two years, in oak barrels, starting from January 1st following the harvest.
A wine where the Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile expresses all its magnificence and elegance.
COLOR: intense ruby red, tending towards garnet during aging.
FRAGRANCE: intense, ethereal.
TASTE: dry, elegant, balanced, persistent
