										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is the first DOCG in Italy approved on 1 July 1980.<br />
To obtain this wine the vineyards must be registered and located within the municipality of Montepulciano. The specification imposes, to maintain the territoriality of this product, that the vinification, aging and bottling are done internally<br />

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano must be subjected to a maturation period of at least two years, in oak barrels, starting from January 1st following the harvest.<br />
A wine where the Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile expresses all its magnificence and elegance.<br />

Vinsanto di Montepulciano is produced with Malvasia, Trebbiano and Grechetto grapes.<br />
This last vine is commonly called a ” flea in the bottom” : &#8220;Pulce in culo&#8221;, as the grape has a small brown spot on the bottom.<br />
Its aging is a minimum of 3 years in the barrel.<br />
<strong>COLOR:</strong> amber<br />
<strong>BOUQUET:</strong> intense, ethereal aroma of ripe fruit: plums and plums<br />
<strong>TASTE:</strong> Large and velvety, with intense roundness.</p>
