Is made in ours wineyards called "Poggio Saragio". The yeld for hectar for this wine is of 4500 Kg. Is a blend of Sangiovese (90%) and Merlot (10%), the latter for give a peculiar softness.
The "Poggio Saragio" is aged for 18 months in french tonneau and refined in bottle for 12 months.
Organoleptic Features:
Colour: Ruby red with orange tints due to maturation.
Bouquet: Intense with pronounced notes of flowers violet and fruit
Taste: Dry, harmonious, slightly tannic , full and rounded body.
Alcoholic Strength : 13,5% Vol.
Temperature: it should be decanted beforehand and served at a temperature
around 18°C.
Gastronomy: To be drunk with roasts of red meats, game, mature cheese
