This wine is produced only in the hills of Montepulciano between 250 and 500 maters s. l. and is DOCG since 1980.
The grape is Prugnolo Gentile selected from Sangiovese in the XVII century.

Organoleptic Features:
Colour: Ruby red with orange tints due to maturation
Bouquet: Delicate and intense with pronounced notes of violet.
Taste: Dry, harmonious, slightly tannic , full body.
Alcoholic Strength: 13,5% Vol.
Ageing period: 2 years in French and Slavonic oak
Temperature: it should be decanted beforehand and served at a temperature of around 18/20°C.
Gastronomy: To be drunk with roasts of red meats, game, mature cheese
